Dr Pippa Belderson

Pippa works as a researcher for the Addiction Research Group at the University of East Anglia, with a focus on tobacco smoking cessation, harm reduction and relapse prevention.  Recent studies include the COSTED trial (an opportunist smoking cessation intervention delivered in emergency departments, incorporating provision of a vape); the ‘eSupport’ project  (developing and testing smartphone-based stop smoking support for people who are pregnant); and the BabyBreathe trial (testing a package of support to help women stay smoke free following the birth of a baby).
