Biography

Jon recently joined Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation as a Senior Police Officer focusing on tobacco control. His role involves working with the UK government and organisations such as the NHS to shape policy in areas including tobacco control and smoking cessation services. He previously spent four years at the Institute of Alcohol Studies, focusing in particular on alcohol licensing. He gave evidence as an expert witness to a House of Lords Select Committee investigating this subject, and presented on UKCTAS (now SPECTRUM) CPD courses.
