Biography
Mira Osinibi is a Paediatric Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist working at Kings College Hospital for the past 5 years. She worked at the Royal Brompton Hospital prior to this post as a Respiratory and Cardiac staff nurse with deep interest in respiratory medicine. She has been a lead for Smoking Cessation for the Paediatric service since 2017, passionately involved in reducing paediatric respiratory symptoms influenced by passive smoke inhalation. Together with her respiratory team she established a smoking cessation service for outpatient and inpatient smokers using motivational interview and Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitoring as a successful tool to introduce the journey to stop smoking.
She is a member of the National Paediatric Respiratory and Allergy Nurses Group (NPRANG) to promote and improve the health of all children and young people with Respiratory disease.
Mira Osinibi has spoken in various conferences including the John Price Respiratory conference, NPRANG, Royal College of Paediatric and Child Health (RCPCH) and the ‘Best of Kings’ conference in Jordan.
