Mary Yates

Mary is a Learning Disability and Mental Health Nurse. She provided leadership for the smoke free programme in South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust from 2014 to 2022. She was expert advisor to the NICE committees when they developed guidance on smoking in 2013 and 2020 and was an active member of the Mental Health & Smoking Partnership. She now works as a National Tobacco Dependence Trainer supporting implementation of smoke free policies in mental health and learning disability services.
