Biography

Samantha Osborne is a specialist midwife in smoking cessation at University Hospital Dorset UHD. Graduating from Greenwich University BSC Hon Midwifery in 2010, whilst training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in South East London.  Samantha has worked in all areas of midwifery before adventuring into tobacco dependency in pregnancy. Samantha provides an in-house smoking service with a dedicated maternity team. She’s passionate about providing quality care and the importance of allowing everyone to access the support and opportunities they need. Samantha aims to help achieve a smoke free generation, to provide equality in knowledge and the support needed to create smoke free homes for our babies, whilst reducing the one largest modifiable factor, leading to poor outcomes in pregnancy, birth and for the neonate; smoking.
